If you are expecting to recoup your money in a subsequent sale, absolutely not.

It’s not the answer you’re likely looking for, but if having the real deal is an important thing to you and have you the extra money to spend, then yes, it’s worth it. If you are looking to do some flipping on ebay, don’t count on it.

To me, no. I'm not exactly sure the difference between the two, but here are what I think they are:

-Replicas have the logo and names and stuff ironed on while the authentic ones are sewn on

-Authentic has the MLB logo on the back

-Replicas may or may not have the side logo (not sure)

-And replicas CAN have the name on the back

To me, they are both made through MLB, so they are reliable and nice. Unless you REALLY want exactly what the players wear, it's not worth it to get an authentic jersey. I would bet most fans in jerseys have the replicas. The replicas look fine. So I mean, unless you are really going for the exact look, it's just not worth it because the differences are so minor. It's moreso to please the picky/die-hard fans.

I have several authentics, yes they look real nice but can be a pain to get clean

if something happens to them. I'd much rather have a nice collection of replicas

(not the knockoffs from wholesale sites on the web) than just 1 or 2 "legit ones".

After reading your dilemma = I would suggest 3 replicas, and 3 hats. The combo

is a nice look and you can alternate more often what team you want to represent.

Get a replica jersey. They last just as long as authentic, and barely anyone has authentic jerseys, so you wouldn't be the only one with a replica jersey

You are the only one who can make that decision. For some, authentic is important enough to pay twice as much. For some, it's not.

For me, it's not worth it. But for that matter, I don't have a replica jersey either.

In my opinion it is not. You could spend 200+ dollars for 1 authentic jersey, or you could order several jerseys from those cheap jersey selling websites on the internet. They're not perfect but still very nice jerseys. I think that's a better choice.
