I would say no, they come with cheap components and you will be much happier buying a better board. I had one from Walmart for a while and when I went to replace it I got mine from Social Skateboarding. Not only do they sell the same stuff you get from high end skate stores but they sell it at a much lower price. They have a great business model to keep their prices low on high quality products.

Definitely not- Walmart skateboards and longboards are completely toy grade. They have extremely cheap parts that hardly function. For example, you can't even turn at all on their skateboards.
Don't be fooled by the small price tags and similarities to skateboards professional skaters use.
If you want a REAL skateboard, one that is massively better in any way, it will cost you above 70 dollars. These will also require you to assemble them yourself, but complete skateboards are avaliable.
