Do airsoft guns hurt? Yes they do, but the pain varies depending on the gun itself. There are 4 types of airsoft guns: Gas, Electric, CO2, and Spring. Most of the time electric type guns should be the least painful out of them because they usually range around 300-350 fps. Which feels like a pinch that stings. Gas guns usually shoot around 350-400 fps. Spring guns depending on whether it's a spring sniper or not would usually vary between 200 fps (cheap spring guns) to +400 fps (Spring snipers). CO2 guns usually range around +400 fps, and are usually the most painful of them all. 300 fps range is like a sharp sting (pretty bad pinch), 400 fps is probably comparable to a paintball (probably a little bit less, but probably stings more.)
Yep, airsoft gun kind of hurt. It's not like a soft little impact, it hurts, and will leave marks. But the pain will depending on it's muzzle velocity: fps (feet per second). If an airsoft gun has a low fps (200-250), it will hurt less. Guns 300 and above hurt alot, so wear body protection when using airsoft guns!
Here is a video of a person shooting another person with no shirt on. The gun used is a KWA NS2 M93R. Is has around 340-350 fps. Look what it does to his skin! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VOV_RTuN... hope this helps!
I once (as a less-than-bright 8 year old) tried shooting a playing card off of my own toes with an airsoft Walther P22 style air gun with plastic BBs. Walther P22: 1, foot: 0. Really it depends on what kind of airsoft gun, the pressure and the type of pellet. Bigger usually = more pressure. Tip: Don`t shoot yourself in the foot or anywhere else.
YES. My brother shot me 7 times. 2 in the butt, 3 on my arms(2 on right,1 left) and 2 on my stomach. All of them hurt but the bigger the gun the more powerful.
CO2 powered air soft hurt like hell!
