I think the USA will make a bid for the summer games in 2024 or 2028. But I dont think will ever "win" the games again. The world hates the United States goverment. Although US culture and people are liked a little more we are still hated. The games have a better chance beeing held in countries like Iran, Cuba or a war torn African nation then the United States and thats sad.
Chicago lost the bid for 2016. The cost of these things & the need to build locations is huge. That is why Greece is broke today. The 2000 games was a money loser. Plus Other places want a chance. South America get their first chance next time. Africa has never held one. Asia only 3 times.
It has NOT been decided for 2020 but it won't be in the Americas (Rio has them in 2016). You had them in LA in 1984 and Atlanta in 1996.
At the earliest, you could get them in 2024 and I suspect that New York will be the next US Olympic venue.
We just don't know further sorry!
At the earliest, it would be 2024. The 2016 Games will be in Rio, the 2020 in Madrid, Istanbul or Tokyo (to be decided next year). The US is likely to bid for 2024 or 2028, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait at least until then.
There's only a general "sure, sometime" response to give you. All the known cities are outside the US until at least 2024. Bidding for that begins in 2015, if an American city is going to make one.
of course. the Olympics will continue the go on until the end of time
Yes
Of course. Just not any time soon because the next Olympics are in Russia and the ones after that are in Rio (I believe).
Probably, but not for a while
I am just curious because I have always wanted to see the Olympics in person and the only chance I have on going is if it is in America. So please if anyone know that would be great!
