I am in the Pittsburgh area. I am looking to buy a gun for home protection. I am not sure where to go to buy one and also of any local areas where there is a gun range to practice shooting. I am also interested in any suggestions on what type of gun to buy for home protection. Thanks.

You can guns at any local stores, or Dick's Sporting Goods. If the gun is for home protection, I recommend a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun, or if you want a handgun, I recommend a Colt 45 1911. As for gun ranges most local gun stores should have shooting ranges. Good luck!

Type your state and city online and type gun shops.

Or if you have a android download the local app and type gun shop and the nearsest gun shops will appear with their locations.

Or you can always try a sporting goods place like big 5.
