I have to agree with Thomas in that rugby is probably one of the most dangerous sports. There's a lot of dangerous sports, but most provide at least some amount of protection; and with rugby it's simply hit after hit with nothing to protect you.

rugby. No pads. It's a brutal sport

Boxing.

skeleton. Your face is four inches from the ice hurtling headlong down a bobsled run

BASE jumping.
