HI, I have started playing badminton recently and i am so into badminton right now. We are playing for fun and not planning to go to a coach. I could use some tips on the following.

1. Is playing twice a day all 7 days okay (we play pretty intense)

2. I end up straining too much. Especially in the ankle joint. How can i avoid this?

3. I am 22 yrs old and my friends are of the same age. But i get tired sooner. I wanna play more but i can't is there anyway i could increase my stamina?

Please help me out. Thanks in advance

ok you shouldn't be playing everyday. You need a rest on some days. That's the reason why you are straining alot. And getting tired is the only way to increase your stamina. Try skipping

1) play as much as you want as long as you don't get sick of it.

2)you have to make sure you stretch propoly before you play. For your ankles you should, if you hold your leg up slightly and role your ankle in a circle this will stretch it well and it won't strain as much.

3) if you want to be able to play longer remember this, you don't have to put everything u got into each hit. You have to use your hits strategically so you don't get too tired. For example only hit hard if you think you can get it to the ground on their side of the net. Also you can just exercise to get fit such as jogging (obvious).

U might want to go to once a day...wear high back shoes that habe spring action....the high backs help with support of the ankle if u tie the shoe strings right ......I love that game sooooooo much
