I do all star cheerleading and I am in love with it. the feeling of competing and winning and everything else is just so amazing. my closest friends are all on my team, all star cheerleaders are generally so nice and supportive. joining was honestly the best decision I've ever made and I'm sure that you would love it as well. although don't join expecting to just jump around and not put in any work. all star cheerleading is very athletic and requires strength. but if you aren't strong don't worry because the conditioning at practice will build your muscles. It can get hard at times, but trust me it is so worth it.
However if you're considering school cheerleading, my experiences were not so great. I hated all the drama going on between everyone and it didn't feel like a team...but it was middles school and that's what middle schoolers do. I know many people who absolutely love their school cheerleading team and they have a lot of fun. a couple things I do miss about school cheer are football games and pep rally. school cheerleading for me wasn't hard because my team wasn't good but other teams practice just as hard as all star cheerleaders
Being a cheerleader could raise your popularity. Also, I think it's worth it because cheerleading could be a good exercise. But I don't know how difficult it is, since I've never been a cheerleader before.
There's 2 types of cheerleading all-star (which is what I do) and high school cheer. They are both very demanding, but I like all star cheer better. It can be really dangerous of you don't stunt properly or if you're going to do a tumbling pass and then sike yourself out and don't do it. But I honestly LOVE cheer, it's super fun and you get to go to a lot of competitions, it keeps you fit and flexible. So I do recommend doing cheerleading.
Cheerleading is hard depending on you're position.of you're more built you may be a base which requires alot of strength, if your petit you're probably going to be a flyer which can be scary and you need Balance, of you're tall odds are you'll be a back spotter..that doesn't take much....but cheerleading is very fun, go for it.
If you're a girl, Than yeah, You should be cheerleader, It's sexy.
