Ok so i have been a cheerleader for 5 years now. Last year the whole program was really organized. Well i the head coach of the whole cheer program. Isnt doing it this year. All of the coaches left and they all got replaced with new ones. I am a pretty good cheerleader if i dont say so myself. I am the strongest tumbler on the team. The coach for junior varsity is REALLY nice and she is the only one i like. The Varsity coach, the one that is runn the while thing. Is nice but unorganized. Honestly in my opinion she has ruined the program. This is the worst it has ever been. The Junior High coach, my coach, it really mean and rude. She pushes you to hard and then when you get hurt she tells to suck it up. A girl on my team fractured her wrist and she still didnt care. It ruined my cheer life. I love cheer and i have a big passion for it. Me and my mom already talked about this. She told me to do what i think is right. Right now it is only the conditioning part of the season. If i quit i am going to do it before compitetion practices start. Because i dont want to ruin the team. I also dont want to stay in it if i dont like it obviously. Because it is year round. For May to March. My parents also havent paid the full price yet and as you may know it is very expensive. The money is due in 2 weeks july 24. I am in tumbling and i want to focus more on that. I am a very strong tumbler and i want to get stronger. I have been tumbling for 7years. I cant quite focus on tumbling because cheer and tumbling are on the same exact days. So i have to either go to tumbling or go to cheer and tumbling is $112 a month. So i cant afford to keep skipping so my parents told me i have to quit one. And my choice is leaning towards cheer. Also all my best friends are in different sports like basketball and volleyball. I want to do those sports to. Im pretty good at them. Cheer takes up literally my WHOLE summer. I just want to be able to relax. PLEASE HELP!? That was REALLY long. (Sorry)
Honestly it's whatever u want but if u love cheer but hate the couches and stuff u could try to find a different place to do cheer at. But if u don't want to have cheer taking up all ur time then u could quite and stick to tumbling. But ultimately it's whatever u want to do.
I think you shouldn't quit cheerleading you should quit THAT team. I really really recommend you starting an all star cheerleading team. They use lots of tumbling and compete all the time. Im assuming youre talking about a middle or high school team if not try a different gym
