Question about the olympics?

You need to join a proper athletic club like Birchfield Harriers etc then you have to start training, and take part in junior competitions. It is a long hard road to the olypmics with training everyday, giving up a social life with friends etc, in the end after many years of competitions and training you have to prove yourself to the Olympic selection board, who will look at your seasons times and performances. It is no easy life and those medals are really earned

Number one, you need to join a club team and train year round. Unless you are blessed with unlimited natural talent you need to train year round.

14 seconds is all right for a 13 year old and it is not anything to get too excited about at this stage. If you don't train year round then you have no way of knowing how fast you can be at 13 or any age.

I encourage you to go for it. I was a swimmer and I would have loved to gone to the Olympics. I was not nearly good enough. But I had fun trying to get there. Run track because you love it and if you are gifted enough for the Olympics then good on you.

Yes its good for your age because your 13 so in four years you will be 17 and you have to be 15 and up good luck!!

well first of all that is great for your age and second of all i am not positive exactly what you have toi do i do know you have to be at least 15 and there are certain medals you have to earn to qualify
