Machida has the edge as far as experience and that would normally play a larger factor I think if we were not talking about Weidman. Weidman was a really good wrestler in college and a super athlete and he has exhibited an ability to learn quickly and this has really helped him raise the level of his fighting. Based on this and what I saw of his skills in his second fight with Silva I think he is going to win. He in some ways is allot like Jon Jones in this respect. He does not have a long, extensive record yet but I think that's only a matter of time before he does with most being wins and those wins will come at the expense of other fighters like Machida.
Machida via ko
Here are my predictions:
Chris Weidman def Lyoto Machida via T/KO.
Ronda Rousey def Alexis Davis via Submission.
Stefan Struve def Matt Mitrione via T/KO.
Thiago Santos def Uriah Hall via T/KO.
Marcus Brimage def Russell Doane via Decision.
The Dragon we win ! (I hope i love him , we do the same karate)
Who do you think will win the main event Weidman vs Machida and why? They are both talented fighters, can Machida pull it off?
