I know that ESPN will tell you "basketball is the best thing ever, whats hockey?!" and a Canadian or Bruins fan will be like, "nahhhh, hockey is bettah!"

The NBA is full of arrogant showoffs, the officiating is accused of purposely rigging games and the league is just pussified. I don't see a single reason to pick the NBA over the NHL.

Hockey. Better officiating. And its not shoved down peoples throat. Plus it is way harder. NHL all the way.

Both have good and bad things. Basketball has more controversial officiating, but has more action and higher scoring, hockey has more hitting and fighting, but results in much more injuries. Personally I like nba more.
