maybe its just me, but what i hate the most is how the companies are showing some events over others purely because it is an american company/england is the home country. its sad that they had to interrupt a long distance running event to show men's beach volleyball.

I couldn't agree more. But someone stated on here that NBC bid something like 4.5 billion dollars to broadcast the Olympics through 2020! We are so screwed! I may not live long enough to watch good coverage of the Olympics! That is so scarey!

I know! I knew it wasn't just me who thought this. The coverage is awful. They have no respect for the sports or the consumer. It goes on way too late, with too much filler from the beach volleyball. Although I think buffering is from your internet connection, not the site, I'm not sure. It doesn't matter though, because they should have live coverage on tv. They treat us like children.

the internet feed sucks because when you have over a billion viewers trying to watch an event live over the internet, they dont have enough bandwidth to sustain that many people. its like trying to fit 40 people into a single car at the same time. if you have 1-5, its solid, 6 is pretty good and easy too, but when you have 40 people, not only is it harder to fit everyone and compress them in the car, but it takes a lot longer to get everyone in.

I absolutely live for gymnastics, so obviously I love watching it during the Olympics. I dont mind the tape delay at all, I just ignore the spolier alerts on all of the news websites and take time to watch it at night. Well today is my first time logging in to watch the games live, and it is absolutely HORRIBLE. Buffering during routines, advertisments every other second. Who gave NBC these olympic rights, because they clearly need them taken away. WTF
