It will be easier if you started when you were younger. But if you really like cheerleading and you are willing to work then you should do it. Keep in mind that it will be hard because when you start off young, everything is much easier but since you are older, you have to work harder.
My niece never cheered in HS she's very athletic. She made the Cheer squad 4 yrs at a major university. No it's not to late just work hard and listen to the instructors. Good Luck
It's not too old! I started cheer leading in college and i never cheered before in high school or anytime before. It was something I always wanted to do so I went ahead and did it and I was pretty good.
