Is Michael Phelps, Michael Jordan of the pool?

Yes. I was actually thinking of this earlier

1) They're both winners and have the golds, rings and medals to back it up.

2) They both could be a bit arrogant at times, but they're good and they know it

3) Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian of all time and Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, yet they both have doubters of their greatness. Regardless, the (smart) majority knows both of them are GOAT

4) They're both clutch and win when it matters most

They are similar, but Michael Phelps earned his own historical fame and doesn't need a tag from anyone. He will always be Michael Phelps of the Olympics.

I think that theres something that needs to be said about him. Michael Phelps is an amazing swimmer and feels like theres nobody else like him. I think that he is the Michael Jordan of the pool :)

Yes that's a great way to put it. He holds records and they will be hard to beat. Just like micheal Jordan. Great comparison. Micheal phelps is definitely the micheal Jordan of the pool!

Yeah I think so, when you hear swimming you automatically think Micheal Phelps. He would go down as one of the BEST swimmers ever.

He is definetely the Michael Jordan of the pool. He's an amazing swimmer, and it'll be extremely hard to beat his record. :)

I think he is. In fact he finished his career much in the same way Michael Jordan finished his at least as a Chicago Bulls. In the 1998 NBA Finals, in the 4th quarter, Michael Jordan stole the ball from Karl Malone and drove the ball to the other end for an easy 2pts. After that he made a last play, a fadeway that throw Byron Rusell of the Utah Jazz away and shot the ball, his last shot as a Chicago Bulls and in the NBA Finals. The Chicago Bulls won the game and the championship and the second three peat. Michael Phelps finished much in the same way, in his last race 4x100m relay!
