In your first period class there should be at least one person who is willing to help you. You just need to be honest and say, could you help me? If you try to do things yourself you will get hurt worse.
For lunch. Ask someone who is in one of your regular classes if they'd mind helping you out during lunch. There has to be someone. Since you're injured some schools let you cut line but idk if thatll happen. Just ask them if they'll carry the tray for you and you'll punch in the number at the register. That'll be alot easier, and if your try that yourself, without any help, somebody will walk up to help you. Besides, there has to be at least one person you sit with at lunch!!! Ask them!!! Be nice and say thanks a lot to them.
Good luck and get better soon!!! Torn acls are rough...
hey there I was recently in a work accident in which a tendon in my leg was torn and just had surgery after 2 months of being on crutches. Im going to be on crutches for about another 2 months. Its gonna suck if it doesn't yet. but there is hope. After a little bit you'll figure out the nuances of living with crutches. as for as getting lunch most people are sympathetic towards someone on crutches. Just ask someone to carry your tray to the table for you and if they no im sure someone will step up. I live in nyc and its busy but people stop to help. I hope this helps.
In my school, if someone is on crutches the teacher will allow the student to leave class a few minutes early. Also with a classmate.
This would allow you to get your lunch before people rush in the lunchroom and your classmate can carry your tray to the table.
Grow up kid! I use to play football and basketball in high school. Tore up both knees and broken ankles and still doing fine.
