I started when I was 19. Cain Velasquez, current UFC HW champion started when he was 21, and UFC HW contender Travis Browne started when he was 26. It's never too late to start.
Do some research, try out a few gyms and do their free trial classes (most gyms offer this) and join the one you like best. Judge it based off it's atmosphere, class size, teacher, quality of training partners, etc...In 6 months to a year tell your coach you want to fight and he'll sign you up for one.
Good luck
I am in the process of looking for a gym to go to. I have been doing a lot of training on my own. However you can only do some much with out a sparing partner so someone telling you how to get better.
I went through this (from a wrestling and boxing background) Do you have any good gyms by where you live. If your really devoted start now diet is key, find a good trainer / gym and you'll be alright.
I have previous experience in fighting and wrestling. I am a 20 year old female and in was just wanting some input on if people think I am too old to start back up. I am devoted to whatever I start.
