Whey protein ,its lean and not risky
And helps build muscle but look out for calories if you don't A use it right or B train enough and use it at the right times like just after training to get the vest results eat lots of protean 1-2 hours before training and only drink water whilst training and go for weight not reps ( more weight fewer reps but same number of sets) and take the shake within the first 30 minuites after training or preferably before your pulse is fully back to normal ( btw most places won't let U buy ubrill you are 18 so I suggest getting a parent ot older brother / sister/ friend to buy even if U give them the money =)
focus more on a cleaner diet protein shakes don't exactly build muscle its just an easy source of nutrients for the body to absorb after a workout.
I would combine whey protein, creatine, and a good diet lean meats brown rice depending on your goals ect .
but if you want a good shake Ive always loved gold standard, muscletech phase 8
Waste of money. Snake oil. Get your nutrition from food. "Protein shakes" are a marketing scam.
Chances are if you're an American you are already eating more protein than you can process. More is not better, it just ends up in the toilet.
Lean meats, poultry, fish... Whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts. Don't waste calories on junk food.
Why dont you ask pharmacy, Gym guy or uncle GOOGLE? :/
