I need help understanding UFC?

Great question Jorge, unfortunately i don't know of any sites (but i am sure some others here do) as UFC is aired pretty freely here. I can however help you out with some history (Well at least some fighters to check out on youtube). Royce Gracie, Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Ken Shamrock, Anderson Silva, Georges St.Pierre, BJ Penn. These guys are kind of "Cornerstones" or "Icons" of the UFC. If you google some highlights on these fighters you will see how the UFC has grown and evolved over the decades. Also worth checking out some clips of PRIDE as well (It was like the UFC of Japan, featuring many of the UFC's greatest fighters). There is plenty of UFC fans on here so i am certain they will add much more information in detail. Enjoy Jorge...All the best.

UFC cards that have numbers after them (i.e. UFC 77, UFC 124, UFC 165, etc) tend to be the ppv events. They are the big meaningful cards with top fighters and title fights.

UFC Fight Night cards are broadcast on free tv and usually have less important fighters and matches.

TUF is a reality tv show centered around a group of fighters competing to get a UFC contract.

Some fighters to watch: Chuck Liddell, Wanderlei Silva, Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre, BJ Penn, Randy Couture, Chael Sonnen, Matt Hughes, Vitor Belfort, Shogun, Dan Henderson, Rampage, Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, Urijah Faber, Tito Ortiz, Carlos Condit, Thiago Alves, Frankie Edgar, Anthony Pettis, Junior dos Santos, Frank Mir, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Cain Velasquez, Johny Hendricks, Rich Franklin, Diego Sanchez, Nick Diaz, Michael Bisping, Kenny Florian, Andrei Arlovski, etc.

UFC is just one organization that puts on Mixed Martial Arts fights. There are/were other organizations like PRIDE, WEC, Bellator, Strikeforce, King of the Cage, WSOF, etc.

first of is UFC is of the promoters to MMA(mixed martial arts) and its a sport with weight classes just like boxing and there each weight division has its own champ starts from flyweight(115-125) up until heavyweight (206-265) pounds and yes there is official weight-in one day before the match and if you didnt attend you wont be able to participate in your match

second when it comes to the matchs there is 2 types of shows or card there is a free card and there is PPV(pay per view) card and UFC Fight Night is simply a free card you can watch it on tv and PPV is just PPV

third yes you can watch UFC in Europe hell you can even watch it in middle easy LOL

http://www.ufc.com/news/tuf-18-how-to-wa...

forth i almost missed that TUF(the ultimate fighter) is a tv show made by the UFC for a number of individual that fight their way to the finals and the winner gets signed at the UFC as a fighter with six figures contract

aite lets go over the easy stuff 1 the sport is called mma not ufc much like futbol to fifa. 2 tuf is a reality show competition where the winner gets a ufc contract here is a episode of uk vs Australia

I need some help understanding UFC, there's UFC (some numbers), UFC Fight Night, TUF, UFC divided by weights... I don't understand any of this, so I need some help because I want to tune into this because it sounds really awesome to watch.

Any website to watch/download with every episode that isn't region locked? I'm European and the ufc website is locked for American's (I think).

And lastly, any "history" like amazing fighters or amazing fights I should know?
