It seems like in the upcoming school I'm going to, the squads in the previous years had around 6 on the Wrestling Cheer Team, 7 on the Basketball team, and 8 on the Football team. I don't think there's a JV or V, just ages 16-18 can join. Is that kind of weird? It's a small school around 526 students, but I'm worried that means that it really cracks down on how good you are, if there's so few cheerleaders.

I would say normally around 6-10. My team is recreational, but we have 17 girls. The other team (younger girls) has 23. So I guess depending on where you sign up for, it varies.

It depends if your small, medium, or large. Small usually has around 8-10 people. Medium usually has 11-19. Large usually has 20-25.

At my school we have around 1,600 kids and we have a 30 girl cheer team.
