The bar has been raised so high, countries are afraid to bid for 2024. The UK is justly proud. I guess you too are British. You are too polite to be anything else.

Yes I am ecstatic that they have done well. To be pretty much even with Russia near the end of the games is quite a feat considering the populations of each country.

the sports people expected them to win in eg swimming diving they did nt win but they didn t expect them to win in the triatalong gymnastics or cycling so i think they have done pretty amazing
