Are back handsprings easy to learn?

I'm 13 and a level 5 gymnast, personally I got my round-off back handspring first. If you don't know what that is search it up on YouTube. It is easier than a standing back handspring because you get a run and power from the round-off. With standing back handsprings you only get the power from the swing of your arms and technical Stuff. Just remember if you start doing a standing back handspring(which I do not recommend) go to gymnastics gym with Gymnastics coaches not a cheerleading gym, start on the tumble track or trampoline to work on technique. it depends on the person on how long it will take to get one. They are not easy at first but after a little while you'll get the hang of it. Good luck!

Ps. I was 13 when I got mine

Of course it's not too late!!!! All you need to do is try doing the back walkover quickly because it's kind of like a back handspring. Then, try kicking both your legs over at the same time. Help for back handspring. To help, search it up on YouTube. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Sure it's possible! Believe! It all depends on how strong your core, bicep and tricep muscles are. Work on them and you should be able to do one in no time! :)

Its a lot easier after watching this video on it - good luck and have fun

It takes practice or you need to watch animals do it like .............................Red Dragons

I'm 13 and I can do a back walkover but other than that I don't have much experience in gymnastics. I was wondering if its too late for me to learn a back handspring ? Would it even be possible?
