no it was a stkilda players head no danger involved
Actually the kick in the head was a 50:50 with the new rule about forceful contact below the knees because the Saints player had slid in. Most games involve three different umpires? What's the question here?
So do Richmond win given 3 different field umpires? What does that actually mean? St Kilda had 3 different field umpires too, you can hardly have 3 umpires that are the same person. St Kilda can whinge all they like, the fact is they tackled carelessly with so many tackles above the shoulders, only the Jack Riewoldt one was 50/50 but it was the first attempt that was over the shoulder and that's what the umpire saw. Undisciplined football won't win you any matches in the AFL, they are lucky we kicked 14.19 and not 19.14, the result could of been much greater, like last week could of been against Carlton, we kicked 14.22, if we do that against the better sides, we will get beat for sure.
I agree with Yahoo, if it was a Saints players head then there was definitely no likelihood of any danger.
Saints ran out of fitness last week in the heat. Coming back on Friday night and playing catchup all night, they did get to within 4 points early in the 4th. They couldn't finish the game, but it wasn't a bad effort. Having 3 different umps doesn't change the outcome unless they make a series of clangers in favour of the Saints.
defenders let a bloke kick 7 goals on them and wonder why they lose. The saints had the opportunities and they wasted them, that's on them.
