Should I let my son play football?

I've had 6 concussions, two off which came from football in grade school. If my son asks to play, I don't know how I'd feel about letting him play

Yes, why deny him something he might like and might be good at. If he does want to play and you are that worried, steer him towards a position that is less likely to receive head injuries. Assume wide receivers get less head knocks than the big fellas in the middle :)

If you believe your son is old enough than let him play. My parents didnt want me playing rugby league (Im an aussie) becuase my mum was worried I'd get hurt and my dad isn't into sport and i ended up being left behind in experience when I got my own car and joined a club. Also remember what you would have felt like if yor parents denied you to play

First of all how old is your son? Second if your son wants to play football you should be more supportive of him even though its a really tough sport he is going to get roughed up and knock down but don't forget he'll continued. Probably became very successful at it as years go on.
