No. Suspended players are suspended from all footy. They may only train with the club. EDIT: A player suspended by his own club could play anywhere the club allows him too, that's different from an AFL Tribunal suspension.
I always thought not, but i'm now confused after reading where AFL suspended Pearce Handley travelled north last week with the Lions NEAFL reserves team ? I understood it to read he was playing, but it may well have been simply just in a non playing support role for the team ? Its hard to follow what the rules are these days . Fevola and Ackermanis before him, seemed to play with a different country league team every week ? Dunno how that rule works either now , always thought players had to be registered with a club ?
