Depends on your position and who you are. I've played lacrosse for 10 years, 2 as a player and 8 as a goalie in box lacrosse I've only played as a player in field. I'll post videos of the best hits in both of those. Box Lacrosse: Players you can get roughed up and hit every second you have the ball or even if you don't. Goalies can even get hit if they're out of the crees and have the ball, doesn't hurt you we have around 50 pounds of equipment on us. Dirty players will check the neck, in between pads and right where the kidney pads and chest pads meet (hurts like bloody hell) they will trip and fights do happen. All those are penalty except the in between pads, thats just being dirty. Field Lacrosse: Is pretty much the same except no boards to get checked into. Goalies wear less padding, and the checks are (I found) harder just because putting people on their butt is great running at full speed. Field lacrosse hits:
