It's never going to happen, a race such as ours with a overseeing scale of technology, most likely does not wish to destroy itself. But lets say if it did happen, most likely the judges and hosts of the show will wear bulletproof custom-skin all day.
I would try to escape to the wild like one of the guys in the story wanted and try not to be found. Luckily I'm too old to be in the games. :P

I guess it would mean that 25 teens would die every year though I think their parents might start a rebellion rather than risk seeing their children potentially die every year.

Like just what if the hunger games did? And instead of 12 districts we have 13. And no there isn't any romances. That only happens in books and movies, besides in the hunger games they had young teen love but take it out its a bunch of kids murdering one another till one stands with no young love.
