Starting RB vs your own defense?

No,you should only bench a player/defense if you think your backup will do better,or of course if they are injured,or have a bye..

In those situations you just hope your D & RB both do well:Which is highly possible.Still, since Seattles D is #1,they could shut down Lacy..If you think this will happen then look at your backups matchups.

OAK @ NYJ,& BUF @ CHIC

These Ds are much lower ranked than Seattles.

But,Spiller will probably at least get half of the Bills caries.

I would seriously consider starting MJD this week.

BTW-This website http://www.fftoolbox.com has weekly player rankings for each position,& after the players names it gives weekly point predictions, after factoring in opposing defenses.I would compare your 3 RBs on the list..And,ALWAYS START SEATTLE D (Unless you have the 49ers on the bench,or something.

I looked at what fftoolbox predicts for your RBs this week,& they say Lacy will get 13.5 points,F.Jax 11,& MJD 8.

Play both. It happens sometimes but you go with your top players regardless

It is what is is. They'll play how they'll play regardless

I am playing yahoo fantasy football and new to this. I have Lacy as my RB from the packers but my defense is Seattle. Should I play another RB for week one. Seems counter productive because if LAcy does well than my defense shouldn't do well. I have MJD as a backup and Jackson from buffalo as my back up RBs. New to this so any advice helps.
