Should I quit playing softball?

yes if you are unhappy. If you're hitting .400 or can hit 80 on the gun and you're still playing part time you should go see a HS or college coach before quitting. Otherwise you should do activities that you enjoy at your age.

Hey, you sound like you're really into softball and love playing it, just because you don't get a fair go in one team doesn't mean you stop playing the game all up, if you really like the game and think you're being treated unfairly just change teams..simple :) i recommend going to a rival team to annoy the ones that treated you unfairly.

If you are 15 how are you playing in a U14 league?

No don't quit

I don't ans the question.......

You should never quit at anything

So I've been playing softball now since i was 7. I am now 15 in a 14U select softball league. I am a starting right fielder, 2nd second baseman and number 3 pitcher on my team. I played high school softball through my school this year as well. The problems I'm having are hard for me to decide whether or not i should continue playing.

#1. Pitching time. I have pitched a total of 8 innings this whole 3 month summer season starting in May. I take private pitching lessons every week and spend $25.00 on a lesson. I work so hard at pitching and Im faster and more accurate than our #2 pitcher, but shes one of the assistant coaches daughters, so she gets to pitch over me. I feel like i don't want to give it up though because I've spent so much time and money on it. I've been pitching since i was 10, so 5 years so far.

#2. Playing time. Sometimes I start on the bench for the first two innings and then go in for the third and fourth, but sit the fifth and sixth innings. I play right field a majority of the time and I'm really good in the outfield, but i dont get to play much 2nd base because the girl that plays second is again a coaches daughter. Shes so dumb at 2nd and never knows what the hell shes doing, she doesnt hustle and she makes constant errors, and i never make errors when i play second base.

#3. My coaches are so unfair and our whole infield is basically coaches daughters and im number 10 batter out of 11 because they are afraid to change things up and ugh.
