That also isn't to say that things don't sometimes hurt them and they do still feel it but they don't panic or lose their focus and concentration or allow that which they feel to disrupt them and what they are doing at the time. People who don't train or who don't have a tolerance for pain and are not able to take a punch can't easily do that and of course that is how you relate to all this in terms of yourself and what you have said.
I have had a guy bust a glass off my head and shatter and then he got my attention in a real quick way and I threw his butt out of the place I was at. It did not hurt a whole lot or near as much as what a lot of those customers who saw it thought and they were a little freaked out about it and the fact that it did not knock me out. LoL.
When new students and new people who want to train with me I would talk to them about this and use the example of a child of 3-5 years old that is running across the lawn or sidewalk and trips and falls. While that does not feel great for that child they usually are not seriously hurt but the pain they feel is a new sensation for them usually and so they cry and sometimes make a great deal over it. Five minutes later though that child is fine usually and running and playing like it never happened.
Learning to deal with pain for fighters and martial artists who train at a high level is something that comes with training and which they develop. If not then they then don't usually last very long or continue training for any length of time.
Ay, your body over time does get conditioned to it to a degree but it still hurts, and there are some places were it's gonna hurt no matter what:
Solar Plexus, Temple, Ear, Eye, Nose, Kidney, Liver, etc.
Yeah it does did you get to see Machida/Mousasi? it was a good fight. But their bodies are conditioned to take it better than the avg person.
Loooool you're funny hahaha but yeah they get hit everyday in practice so they get use to it! Believe me if you get kicked on your leg everyday after a while you won't event feel it
UFC fighters are scared to take punches and the kicks they throw are so ridiculous.go see how boxers take hundreds of punches and are still standing.and the power of punches of boxers is also more than UFC fighters even though padding on their gloves is more.and did you say UFC fighters are standing after taking a lot of punches? Man,go watch some of their fights, they fall after a small punch.anderson silva knocked out by Chris Weidmans punch was a good example for this
We are well trained for it ..
But
we are also humans ...
some of those punches are hardcore and look like they hurt like biach same with the kicks
but the fighters are still standing as if they had only received a slap form a gurl
if i got hit by one of those punches id be on the floor crying or knocked out
bq:are nose punches legal? that hurts the worst and for days
