I don't like "fake" to describe it, because these guys really do put a beating on each other every night. However, the outcome of the matches are predetermined and the story lines are written so it is scripted. Basically wrestling is two men/woman who work together to tell a "story" in the ring and entertain the fans, but it's not "fake" like magic or a movie 'cause these guys often get injured and alot of the moves do hurt...though usually not as much as they look. When a wrestler pretends to be hurt, that's called "selling a move," the blood is/was caused by slicing their forehead with a tiny concealed razor blade, and chair shots are done with the flat part of the chair. Tip: watch wrestling like you would a movie and you'll enjoy it a whole lot more. Wrestlers like to call that "suspending your disbelief."
Scripted and fake. If it was real then a lot of the things that take place would be illegal.
WWE is in fact scripted, but they don't fake the moves, so people can get injured while on WWE
It's all scripted but sometimes wrestlers actually get injured during a wrestling match.
fake
100% scripted and I really can't believe any educated person would watch that rubbish.
