Which is the most dangerous sport in Olympics?

Winter Olympic events are way more dangerous then Summer events. Downhill skiing, and events like the Luge and the Skeleton, cause way more injuries then summer events. Wikipedia lists six deaths during the winter Olympics, all of them due to crashes or collisions.

Most dangerous Summer Olympic sport is probably boxing. People intentionally trying to hurt each other is never healthy.

Eventing: The 3-day "triatholon" of horse back riding.

The IOC is considering elementing the sport from the games because of the high number of deaths and paralizing injuries. It's so dangerous that Time just did an article about how Dangerous Eventing is. 12 riders died alone, in a year-and-a-half between 2007 and 2008 during competitions.

Eventing has more attibuted injuries and deaths than all other Olympic events COMBINED.

I would definitely have to say that WeightLifting overall is the most dangerous game. There are risk involving injury. Remember that in 2008 when the Hungarian was injured on his arm, that tells us that Weightlifting is extremely dangerous to anyone who is involved with it. Also Gymnastic and boxing is dangerous too, but not as dangerous as Weightlifting.

Luge. An athlete died last Winter Olympics luging.

They're all dangerous in one way but I'd say gymnastics, boxing Taekwondo judo

I think that's probably an opinion question. I'd personally have to say gymnastics because its really easy to injure yourself in the events.

I guess the uneven bars. Just a guess.

Soccer maybe.

Javelin Catching had to be dropped.

gymnastics....most risk involved and tons of injury.
