My son trains with one--9-1 record--who used to compete at 155 but recently dropped down (prior to turning pro) to 145. He walks around close to 170. That's a bit heavy, and his weight cuts are way more difficult to 145 than they were to 155. But that's what they walk around at.
Hope that helps.
Donald's right on. 165lbs is a good average. Some featherweights I know that stay really skinny walk around 160. I also know some who tend to gain some fat in between fights and start camp at 180lbs.
Most walk around over 160lbs. Urijah Faber actually was kind of small when he was fighting there, walking around a little under 155lbs. Aldo, who's a particularly big FW who has been looking at moving up a weight class for a little while, is supposed to walk around a little over 170lbs.
Typically 160+
Their homes.
Ok, on a serious note, about 10lbs heavier than fighting weight.
