I AGREE. This Olympics have been full of questionable cases. Are the London organisers like anti-Korean or something??
1. Incorrect North Korean flag.
2. Incorrect disqualification for South Korea's Park Taehwan (later corrected).
3. South Korea's judo guy, who won, but then the decision was abruptly anulled.
4. South Korea's fencing chick who was going for towards the final, tied with her opponent, but penalised 1 second before the game ended and hence, lost.
5. Yet to come...
Other news: North Korea is doing exceptionally well, can't believe it.
The international federations of the various sports conduct the events and select all of the officials. Controversial decisions happen all the time in these sports. You only know about these examples because the Olympics is the only time most Olympic sports are ever on TV.
I assume its anti korea. Since most of the referee is chinese. And south korea supposed to hold the gold medal. Its a fact.
1. 400m swimming (park tae hwan).
2. Fencing (sin a ram).
3. Judo.(jo jun ho).
And all the referee commitee can do is apologize. Atlet work hard for many years. And "apologize is not enought"someone need to do something! !!!
Don't blame London, England or even Britain... It is the Olympic committee that do these sort of things like choosing judges and allowing points to change.
Nope, any sport with any degree of subjective judgement involved will throw up controversies from time to time. Usually it's just people who don't really understand the sport whining that their country missed out.
What a load of crap.
The Olympics have gone extremely well generally.
Judges are human and sometimes screw up. You can't blame the whole Olympics for a couple possible mistakes.
This is disgraceful what they're doing. For now they took final from Korean A Lam and also bronze from Pole Pawel Zagrodnik (and that's only what I was watching !) and much more amazin mistakes in other disciplines.
