1896 Athens, Greece. - First ever, very few countries

1900 Paris, France.

1904 St.Louis, U.S. - First in the U.S.

1908 London, England. - They've had it three times now.

1912 Stockholm, Sweden. - First Scandinavian city to host.

1920 Antwerp, Belgium. - They didn't compete during WW1.

1924 Paris, France. - For the second time...

1928 Amsterdam, Netherlands. -

1932 Los Angeles, U.S.. - Second in the U.S.

1936 Berlin, Germany. - Not the friendliest environment. Just before WW2.

1948 London, England. - Second time hosting. Great environment after the war.

1952 Helsinki, Finland. -

1956 Melbourne, Australia. - First held in the continent.

1960 Rome, Italy. - Very unique olympics.

1964 Tokyo, Japan. - First ever to be held in Asia.

1968 Mexico City. - Some contriversy about the elevation level of the city.
