Can't tell for sure. The whole "earn a black belt in 2-3 yrs flew up a red flag because the traditional ninjutsu syllabus is quite large and takes anywhere from 5 to 6 yrs.

It's hard to tell. I would have to watch a video to know 100%.

And like others have mentioned the Bujinkan as earned a tarnished reputation from teaching $hit and being full of fraudulent teachers who would waste your money and time. It's so over-run with mc-dojos they have lost all credibility and many other martial artists do not take them seriously.

Are all schools like this? Every single one? No, but be very wary about ninjutsu. I've done it for 11 yrs and am fully aware of the amount of BS that goes on with the bujinkan. The watered down training, the butchery of technique. Nothing is more painful to attend a seminar and see martial artists of the art you have done butcher it and make a mockery of it. Just be careful on your choice.

Liondancer, you're kidding me right? Hatsumi runs the Bujinkan and the Bujinkan has spawned more McDojos than McDonalds has added Mcs to the names of cr@ppy food.

This dojo is run by a guy who wanted to have his organization labelled as a religion with it's head dojo as a church!

Avoid the Bujinkan at ALL COSTS!!!

All ninjutsu is "McDojo".......Ninja no longer exist and have not for a long time.

Wakarimasu, tomodachi? Such is still presented in Japan because the gaijin tourists wanta to see the same and hear the stories...business, after all, is still business.

If arts could be mcdojos themselves, Ninjutsu would be a McRib sandwich

The time it takes to get a black belt seems a little short, but other than that it doesn't seem like a mcdojo. See if you can watch a class. Then you can see how good ( or bad) the black belts are. If they try to get you to sign a long term( two or more years) contract, run.

I'd be surprised if it was. If it is under Hatsumi Sensei which this one claims to be it's probably a good one. Definitely worth checking out.
