Do you think if i try on my bed i will fall off?
Thanks
Also any tips for backflips will help x
That was my trouble too... Always to scared! Also work on lower skills before you jump to the "big" tumbling. Do you have a backhand spring? Try and sign up for a tumbling class at a local gym before you try it at home. Look at videos on YouTube or even have one of your friends spot you on it. (Be careful make sure they are able to pick you up, also do research on how to spot a backflip) I recommend not to do it on your bed, because when you jump or flip you could hit the ceiling or break some of the springs in the mattress, possibility of falling of and paralyzing yourself! :(
I hope I helped with your backflip!
backflips are cool and actually aren't that hard (tho you do need to be in decent physical shape)...but they are tough to get up the nerve. I wouldn't just up and try it on the bare ground cause ive seen too many fails from people trying that. Me and my bro just learned them at home and by looking on youtube how to do them. We had no professional training or gyms. We did them first by doing them on trampolines and into swimming pools...this just kind of gave us the feel of flipping backwards...but if you don't have access to either of these, then here's what you should try.....pull your mattress off your bed and gather up as many couch cushions as you can or anything soft to pile up. This is how we learned how to do it:) then stand in front of them and flip back and land on the cushions to get the feel of flipping backwards. jump high and bring you knees to your chest as you flip back. as you get used to this try, taking off more cushions so you have more room for landing, eventually you should get down to one layer and and least be landing on your hands and knees.( At first it might seem impossible to land on your feet, but as you improve your form, you will be surprised at how soon you learn it!) At this point really start working on your form. Look on youtube for the correct technique to do a backflip. There lots on there of detailed descriptions on how your form should be. Good Luck! once you get over the fear, you'll have it in no time!
I think if u practices your backhandsprings that will get you used to flipping quckily! After that try your back tuck on a bed so if u fall then u dont hurt yourself ( just make sure the bed is big) Then when u have it on the bed try it on a mat or on a spring floor.. when you have it there go to the grass, sand, sidewalk, road, etc.
Find ways to learn how , and read and talk to people who were learning, im sure ur not the only one who has that fear
