How many countries in America are represented in the Olympics?

Aren't there 38 nations that are part of America?

A lot.

In North America you have Canada, Greenland, United States, Mexico, Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Guadelope, Cuba, etc.

In South America Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Venezula, Cjile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guyana, Columbiana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, etc.

The word "America" by itself is thought to refer only to the United States of America. People who live in the Americas refer to North America, or South America, but, as a Canadian, if you say I live in America, I would be offended.

Shows 41 countries in the Americas involved in the 2012 Olympics, and their names.

Huh? Are you talking about the people who have immigrated to America from other countries? I don't know the exact number, but I'm quite sure there are more than just 38.

Most all sent a team. Some of the island nations did not.

not to mention all the nations represented by athletes whose ancestors were enslaved by white supremists

Hahaha really funny.my 2 year old cousin could answer this question!!!
