In South America Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Venezula, Cjile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guyana, Columbiana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, etc.

The word "America" by itself is thought to refer only to the United States of America. People who live in the Americas refer to North America, or South America, but, as a Canadian, if you say I live in America, I would be offended.
