Do Bok is the correct Korean word. Gi is a Japanese term. The Koreans and Japanese do not get along well. I doubt any Korean style would use Japanese to describe things.

Gi is a japanese term for traditional martial arts wear and more universally understood in martial setting for non-tkd people.(also gi is different in that it wears like kimono than a v neck shirt.)
