As an Olympic London2012 volunteer, I'm with Toby. If you're bored to death with the Olympics already, how many times do I have to say it; its not for you, its for future generations. We are not interested in people who have a negative view of everything. Your contribution to society is 0. Go and do your thing, but stop being so negative. Help the next generation. . . . yours we know about.

@Toby - How can you say that people who oppose the Olympics have no heart for sport? The organization itself has turned the event into a media/advertising circus that is centered more on bragging about venue cost and celebrity performers than the athletes. Being a lover pf sports I have no interest in watching what has become of this organization.

I don't understand why some people are so cold when it comes to events like this. Me being English, this is a once in a lifetime event happening in our own country, and watching amazing athletes beat world records and seeing your country win gold is great. Anyone who thinks otherwise has no heart for sport.

i live in weymouth/portland and we have had 2 years of road rebuilding hell now its started the whole town centre is no parking we are peed off with it before its begun
