Are these Olympics becoming too PC?

Tweet, get expeled. Post photo, get censured. Play badly, get disqualified. Serve different in TT, get red carded. Don't cycle in line, get disqualified.

Not necessarily maybe Great Britain are just looking for any excuse to remove opponents from the games, and PC is just a convenient excuse. If there are any UK Olympic officials reading this then Im totally kidding and have no answer.

What do not following the rules have to do with being PC? The only thing that falls under the PC category you mentioned are the racist tweets and I guess a photo (don't know anything about that.)

The others were breaking the sport's or the Olympics' written rules.

playing badly is not what got someone disqualified. the olympic committee successfully removed the concept of "flopping" in their sport instantly. now if only the major sports in the US (particularly basketball) would take a similar stance instead of letting the problem control each game.

as for the rest of your point, well, no. they are not becoming to PC. i agree with everything they've done so far (except maybe the tweet, they should have warned her first).

The Olympics need to be very PC if it's going to include the world. Would you rather have an Olympics where it's the same dominating countries competing in most events, or would you rather see someone from a small country get a shot at a medal?

the 2nd half you mentioned had more to do with the rules of the sport opposed to being pc. but its more in the spirit of the games, not necessarily to win. as for the tweeting and posting photos, i dont know. i dont use twitter.
