I'd say Mick Malthouse would be now. Tony Jewell, 1980 premiership coach was a ripper too, he was always carrying on like a pork chop. Very funny to watch.

they all get very animated at various times, coaches are under intense pressure the biggest outburst I have seen on TV was delivered by Malthouse, you didn't need to be a lip reader to know what every second word was. or to guess he was slightly miffed. an outburst such as malthouses would be standard fare for AFL coaches, and if cameras spent a little more time showing the coaches box it would be clear to all that an un-animated coach in the AFL is indeed a rare and extinct beast.
