Badminton has been billed as the fastest sport. It is noted that a shuttlecock can be propelled at speeds of up to 332 km/h; the sport overtook Jai Alai which was its origins in Spain. The ranking of the fastest sport is pegged on that is human powered and thus sports such as car racing do not qualify for consideration.
