So I have never played a contact sport before but I want to do something else other than soccer. I have no experience and I am not that great at sport. Some people tell me that I should have a crack at it but others say I will suck at it and the team is only one team so I will be stuck with all the good players and might let the team down. I coached a young man who all through his youth played soccer. He spent the first season learning but after that became one of the clubs greats. He retired a few years ago and won some flags. He was possibly the most courageous player I have seen.

Give it a go, mate. It will take a while to pick up all the finer points of Our Great Game, but if you have to do a sport for school, what sport could be better. You'll never know, unless you give it a go.

You never know mate, you might be ok at it, only one way to find out, give it a crack, if you're no good the team could always use a good orange boy. :)
