Hawthorn's Alex Woodward left the track in in distress holding his knee. He ruptured his ACL back in the NAB Cup last year. There's lot's more significant reason's than an injury curse for a Football Teams Number to be Retired. If you have a look though the History Books you'll see why.

That would be going overboard, plenty of blokes get injured in the same numbers over and over again, it's just bad luck mate.

Not in my view. The more injuries at Hawthorn the better, but that's just me I suppose
