Hi, I played football when i was really young for a travel team (10 years old) and quit on the first practice because i got knocked down. Then 2 years later i played for the school team 2nd string defense and 3rd sting offense. I didnt play in 8th grade and i didnt play this year because i am scared to get hit and i do not know why. I dont get hurt i just freak out when it hapoens but i love the sport. I want to play next year but i dont think i am good enough.i am definitley strong enough i am 170lbs and 5 foot 7 inches with plenty of muscle but for some reason i am scared. What should i do? Maybe a DB or A WR from your strenght and height. I know what you're feeling i play linebacker and WR i was scared to hit somebody but i never get hurt but later every time i hit somebody i think of something that makes me happy so when i hit them i dont get scared. maybe you should try it and Good luck on Football :D
