Questions about playing football for a community college.?

Hi I have a couple questions about playin football at a JC. I didn't play football in high school because my dad was in the military and we moved around a lot, and I've played tons of neighborhood football etc. and I love the game. My question is, is it even possible to walk on to a JC team? And if so is it extremely hard? I weigh 155ish and am 5'11" with my size I figure slot receiver is my best bet, I'm pretty quick have good balance and have excellent hands. How good are my odds of making the team and my odds of actually playing?Hi I have a couple questions about playin football at a JC. It depends on how competitive the program is you want to play for. You are going to need to begin contacting coaches at several JC's and finding out what the process is for walking on. It will be very unlikely the coach will guarantee you a spot on the team. Keep in mind, you will want to try and be around for summer ball. Waiting until the fall will hurt your chances of getting onto a team.

No.

Depends what position... You probably won't play WR because coaches would normally want someone with some more experience... You best bet of getting some actual playing time and start is playing defense you're pretty much the perfect size to play CB FS or SS. And they really aren't hard positions to play. Just have to be able to tackle good, keep up with receivers and have good awareness
