Merritt on the wing he has been one of the form wingers for ages. Uate hasn't shown enough and tends to fold under the spotlight. Carney at five eight.If Pearce is picked is picked because he was the starting half last year, then Carney has to get the nod as well. Merrin in the front row. Gallen is a backrower. Lock Gallen, second row Bird and Lewis. I like the idea of Sutton but I think the selectors will pick a utility player rather than specialist, as long as it isn't Gidley.
