Hi, I was just curious about this. I have a friend who coaches one of the top Junior College wrestling teams In the country. Even though the school is a community college, would they be able to go up to Division 3 at some point in the future? They wrestle a few division 1 teams this year, and I just didn't know if they're able to switch or not. ThanksHi, I was just curious about this. No, they are a JUCO school. There have been cases whereD- 1AA football teams have become D-1A football teams, and I bet there are schools that are D-3 across the board that have become D-2. But I have never heard of a Junior College become a D-3 school. I also doubt that the school would want to. With a Junior College you can receive D-1 talent that intend to transfer later on. You wont be eligible to play if you transfer up divisions
