I've just recently bought AFL Live 2, and I can not seem to be able to kick a goal from a set shot. I have noticed that others have struggled with this also. (I'm using Xbox 360) In theory I know how your supposed to do it, by pulling back the stick and then pushing it up, but whenever I do that it just sprays to the sides. Also, I have another problem, sometimes when I take a mark and go to kick it up the field, before I even have time to do anything, my player boots it right back up the wrong way up the ground. When having a set shot, try flicking the right stick down, letting go, and then pushing back up! If you're holding it down and then flicking back up, chances are you're not doing it straight, which is why it's spraying off to the side. For your other problem, it's because you're holding A for too long after you take a mark, so your player begins to kick. This happens to me as well, it's very annoying! Just try and limit how long you hold A for when taking a mark :)
